A Virtual Fireplace with a Transparent Flame View

The Nova Clear is designed for rooms where the fireplace should feel open, architectural, and visually light. Its transparent laser projection technology creates a see-through flame display, making it a strong fit for room dividers, island-style walls, and modern feature installations.

The fireplace combines a refined flame presentation with included log media, wood chips, and crushed glass for a layered firebox look. It can be configured for single-sided, bay, island, and floating wall installations depending on the project layout.

Designed for Entertainment-Focused Spaces

This model is entertainment-ready, with the ability to install a compatible streaming device inside the fireplace’s streaming cavity. The fireplace includes HDMI input, USB-C power output, USB-A power output, and a 120V power plug for a streaming device, which is not included. Stream TV series, movies, and gaming content when not used as a fireplace.

Integrated sound modes add another layer of ambiance. The fireplace includes normal crackling fire audio, Starry Night, Stormy Night, and Bluetooth mode for playing audio through the speaker system.

Installation Options

The Nova Clear is a built-in electric fireplace that can be installed in multiple configurations, including single-sided, bay, island, and floating wall layouts.

It supports both 2x4 and 2x6 wall applications. The manual lists rough framing dimensions for 2x4 and 2x6 installations, with electrical positioned at the top right of the rough opening.

This fireplace must be installed in a location that is not prone to moisture and at least 36 inches away from combustible materials such as curtains, furniture, bedding, and paper. It requires a dedicated electrical circuit and must be wired according to local codes and the installation manual.

The unit can operate on 120V power for 4,100 BTUs or be hardwired to 240V power for 8,200 BTUs. A 240V installation requires a dedicated 240V split-phase circuit with neutral.

Controls and Features

The Nova Clear can be operated from the touch control panel, included remote control, or the Modern Flames app.

Control options include flame style selection, flame color presets, ember bed lighting, downlight color, flame speed, sound mode, heat control, and timer settings. The on-screen controls include four flame styles with six flame colors for each style.

The dual-zone heater system allows front and back heat configuration. Heat can be enabled for both sides, front only, back only, or disabled.

The fireplace also includes reactive log lighting with Breathing, Active, Static, and Off modes. Timer settings allow the fireplace to run from 30 minutes up to 8 hours before shutting off.
