These logs were found in the mountains of the Northern Arizona Forest. In fact, all of the logs that make up this collection were gathered from one tree taht was hit by lightening more than 40 years ago. The effects of the lightening more than 40 years ago. The effects of the lighting strike created bulges, twisting and cracking in the wood which are unique to our Arizona Weathered Oak Collection.
